Code of Practice

The Institute of IT Training is the world’s first professional body for IT trainers. It provides an independent accreditation of both IT trainers and IT training companies.
In July 2005, SQS became the first software testing consultancy to gain IITT accreditation as a training provider.
Institute of IT Training accreditation is a demonstrable quality-benchmark in IT training. Accreditation is awarded following a successful review of the company. This includes pre-sales and marketing materials, the sales process, training facilities and training materials.
As part of the accreditation, SQS commits to following the IITT code of practice for training providers. http://www.iitt.org.uk/public/standards/ittproviderstandards.asp
Accreditation is subject to yearly reviews to ensure that standards are maintained and that any suggested improvements have been implemented.
As part of our commitment to quality, all full-time SQS trainers are holders of the IITT Certificate in Delivery Skills. To achieve this qualification, they are required to deliver training in accordance with the IITT Trainer Assessment Programme (TAP). TAP is a unique, measurable and objective methodology for assessing a trainer's performance and effectiveness developed using the IITT’s best practice competency model. TAP is used successfully within many corporate organisations and training providers around the world and is the UK's leading train the trainer programme.
