Meteor Telco selects SQS Testing Consultancy for its Innovative V2.0 Off-Shore Offering.

Meteor, Ireland’s fastest growing mobile operator has selected SQS Software Quality Systems as their testing partner to provide a Managed Service Testing Consultancy over an 18 month periodworth over €2.5million for the implementation of a new technology platform that will deliver market edge efficiency.

SQS will provide all on and offshore testing through a combination of on-shore presence in Ireland and off-shore facilities in South Africa. Using one cross-border team, SQS is able to  address the typical barriers to off-shore success (Time, Visibility, Consistency, Quality and Communication).

Tony Stewart-Lord, Meteor’s IT Director said: “SQS offered an extremely innovative on and off-shore approach aimed at mitigating any issues that may arise, time-to-market and budget drivers in implementing a business critical technology platform.”

David Cotterell, CEO of SQS UK & Ireland said: “Clearly we’re delighted that Meteor selected SQS, placing high weighting on the value of testing independence. This is SQS’ largest single contract to date, underlining our position as market leader.”
