Board Change

SQS Software Quality Systems AG (‘SQS’ AIM: SQS), the global leader in independent software testing and quality management services, announces that Heinz Bons (59), Chief Operating Officer (COO) and co-founder of SQS, will retire from the Board on 31 December 2007. Heinz Bons will continue to act as a principal consultant for the Group going forward.
In anticipation of Heinz Bons’ retirement, SQS established three regional management teams at the start of 2007. These teams, “Germany”, “UK/Ireland/South Africa”, and “Switzerland/Austria/The Netherlands/Management Consulting” have effectively been operating on a regional COO basis reporting directly to the Executive Board. No replacement is to be sought for Heinz Bons in his capacity as COO.
Heinz Bons co-founded SQS with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rudolf van Megen in 1982, and over the last 25 years, has played an instrumental part in building the Company into the world’s leader in independent software testing and quality management services. As COO he played an instrumental part in floating SQS on AIM in 2005 and on the Open Market of Deutsche Börse in Frankfurt. SQS was the first German company to achieve a primary listing in London. In recent years, Heinz played a pivotal role in both shaping SQS’s technology leadership and providing best of class delivery services to its major clients.
